couldn't sleep on the eve of new year's eve...it's one of those many nights that i've been experiencing a lot recently...had to go to work today...it was already 7am so i decided to get up and make myself a cup of coffee, do my usual morning stuffs...but i did something else...tried to rap while ironing slash combing my hair :D

i got so sick of this song after listening to it gazillion times when i was trying to memorise it...


had this youtube account since 2006 and i used to upload some vids of me singing but i took them down cos i was like..."what the eff was i doing" ha ha...and then i did it again!

needed to put my hair back to life...i didn't want another cut...i swore i would grow my hair longer...and if i don't wanna cut, my only other option is COLOUR! (*sigh* if only i can afford hair extensions :D)

i used to believe that L'oreal was the best...next is Wella, so i was skeptical to try any other brand until someone (who often colour her hair) mentioned this brand was good so i decided the next time i'm getting an at home hair colour kit i would get Schwarzkopf (i can't even pronounce it :D) - i found one without amonia and its a moussey type thing that you pump out of the bottle, which turned out to be purdy good...much easier to apply than the creamy liquid ones...

and this was accidental...cos i never planned on doing this...i just found these amazing stuffs while i was walking around in Karama where i went the other night to buy a razor comb...the materials are so cheap and so easy to make :D

i didn't need any other tools...just my hands...the flowers detach from the stems easily...so i just put the pin in the middle of the flowers and pin them on the foam ball and voila! my little monsters can do this...but i wanted to enjoy it all by myself :D

a little disappointment is that i didn't get to cover the whole ball cos i ran out of flowers...if they weren't so damn hard to get from all the stacks of flowers at the store i could've gotten more...but in any case i love the outcome...

i'm thinking of putting this in the bathroom where i currently have these sunflowers...hmmm

EATING...my fave activity

I realised I just made one post this December...and thought that can't be...I needed to take action...so here are some of the things I've done early December...

1st December 2011

 

BBQ somewhere in the middle of desert
awww...look at that baby sitting purdy in the middle of the desert <3

we found a deserted desert along Dubai - Al Ain Road...seriously no other people was around that breezy afternoon...but it was too breezy and we weren't prepared...we got sand all over our barbies so we decided to just continue grilling at the balcony :D

 

on our way back to Dubai Silicon Oasis...sky was lovely...

he marinated the chicken legs and lamb chops while i did my wonders on pork ribs hee hee

2nd December 2011

our breaky...tender juicy hotdogs, eggs and garlic fried rice...i love sharing a plate...i think he's learned...told him it would save me time doing the dishes :D

a man was selling these party foams on the street so we got some...and i started spraying on some kids that were passing by...

i got them first...didn't expect they would catch on...the windows were open so...yeah got foam all over my hair...crazy kids ha ha loves it!

8th December 2011

we had lunch at Max's and i got him to try this caramel bar which was a part of the combo that i ordered...we asked (well begged actually) a staff if she can hook us up with about four more cos it was just heaven...she said no cos they might be short on supplies...but then she came back after few minutes and said they can give us a box for...hmm I forgot how much, she also mentioned that that was the first time they've done it cos i was with someone foreign lol...but thanks to my mahal...

 

Russian Food...i wanna surprise my mahal with something Russian...but he's very picky and he wanted something traditional...i showed him some recipes i found on android apps and he said that wasn't Russian! so i don't know...maybe i will just surprise him with a pickle or something :p

pink xmas tree project

Been ages since my last post... its now almost mid December and my favourite holiday is coming in less than two weeks! 

We finally finished our pink Christmas tree project. My little Icey had this brilliant idea that saved me a lot of time and moolah! Instead of searching for a pink plastic tree she said "Why not spray paint our old tree Mommy?" and voila! 3 cans of 3 different shades of pink we finally finished spray painting our old tree...the angel sitting on top of the star is a pin which I got from Accessorize ages ago I finally found a place for it...and I'm loving the zebra stripes removable wall decor I got from Ace Hardware :D

well...we have no chimneys in the Middle East, hence the keyboard stand hee hee

a messy corner...fake pink roses and fresh flowers on the floor from my mahal...

to add more pink...hed kandi headphones and YUBZ pink pop handset that i got early this year...they were selling these pop handsets for dhs 300/- at the Covent Garden Market at The Walk in JBR...now they're cheaper which is why i was glad i got it for free...i think i only used it a couple of times when they were new...people used to laugh at these now they're everywhere!

dunno when im gonna do my next post...have a Merry Christmas everyone!
